Beautiful storytelling is my passion.
The stories we tell, the details we choose, the values we champion and how we tell those stories are all fascinating insights into humanity. From the movies we love, to the brands we buy and our Instagram account, we’re all creating a brand, a story. Our individual stories becomes part of the larger cultural narrative. Not only is that process fascinating to me, I’ve made it my career. I art direct, design, illustrate, and even write pieces of brand stories.
What makes a story beautiful is honesty and refinement. It’s through my education and experience that I’ve learned how to use design and art to tell those stories more efficiently, more empathetically, in a way that connects people and elicits emotion. A logo, a user flow, a brand campaign are all stories and it’s my job to make them beautiful.
I have an undergrad degree in Photojournalism, a Masters degree in Graphic Design. I’ve worked in agencies and in-house, big and small, with start-ups and giants of the corporate world. UX/UI, identity branding, ad campaigns, wayfinding, marketing, packaging, copywriting, animation, photography, editorial design, art direction, information design are all a part of my skill set. I tell beautiful stories.
Other information: I am husband to an amazing woman, father to two silly children, and fetch partner to a cool dog named Fenway. I am one of the world's foremost purveyors of root beer. I love sports, to travel, and people watch. I'm pretty much an open book, so ask away!
